Thousands (2014)

Media and Materials: single channel HD video (10min 5sec loop), 7-channel audio (duration variable), canvas projection screen, frosted plexiglass with steel frame, LED lights, curved walls, curved benches.

'Thousands' explores the vestiges of personal story and historical narratives of religion sifted through fleeting perceptual and emotive thresholds and polarities: emerging and submerging, dissolution and becoming, movement and stasis, abstraction and clarity. It attempts to articulate elusive undercurrents--indwelling and out-of-sight--on the fringes of perceptual recognition.
